Kalaam - e - Rehber - A Wish

A WISH

The time may come or may not
Because life's precious, and short

Let me feel free with open heart
Want to feel as if I am lost

Word comes out but never be caught
Blowing wind can not be stopped

Should remember what I've been taught
Keeping the good wishes in my thought

Things can be done, way to sort
Believe I still need to do a lot

Wonder why, anger makes temper short
Tongue moves like a twister, mind go frost

Golden words like a flower in a pot
Beauty shows from each petal's spot

Sun makes you feel warm and hot
Thirsty, and sweaty there is no doubt

A line is nothing, but a dot
Nobody know the reason why or what

Neither I can bring back my past
Nor I know which breath is last

Don't know from where to start
The ends come, after the start

Praying from bottom of my heart
Give me patience and a kind heart

Bless the things which are the best
Bless the *rehber* who is a poet

Kalaam - e - Rehber - Friends, this is America!

Friends, this is America!

Friends, this is America! yes, this is America
Total freedom is in their life
Husband is tired with nagging wife
Men are more happy with men
Women also go to women
They do like to be parents
Don't know who is whose parents!

Friends, this is America! yes, this is America
The house, the car, the TV and the cell
It is not allowed to ring the door bell
Everything belongs to you only to you
Everything is on mortgage paid by you
From gym to beach, working to teach
Door to door they will go to preach

Friends, this is America! yes, this is America
Their culture is famous as a high society
Where everybody loves to show nudity
Summer is highly contaminated here
Flesh of bodies seen every where
Have no fear, to pass urine or stool
Please use paper, it is a cleaning rule

Friends, this is America! yes, this is America
Honesty is the best policy says all
Law is same for the big or fat, short or tall
Black and white, sits side by side
No differences!!! shows no pride
When time comes to choose for voting
Hated feeling comes out by shouting

Friends, this is America! yes, this is America
Feel free to choose your dance partner
Feel free to run away "4m" life partner
No doubt, here everyone loves everyone
Also know how to have good fun
The oldies go to a nursing home
Youngsters prefer to be away 4m home

Friends, this is America! yes this is America
Rest of the ways can fit under it's shadow
Because it provides you a bed with a pillow
Dare to face the challenges of the life
There are ways to carry your knives
Nothing is wrong if you are truthful
Be nice & kind to become powerful

Friends, this is America! yes, this is America
This is the country full of opportunities
Explore the world with your capabilities
Soil of this land gives each and all
Chance to blossom your inner all
The moral of this poem is nothing, but
Where ever you live don't lose UR trust

Friends, this is America! yes, this is America
This poet is one of from millions & millions
Who also has a dream of billions & billions
Like everybody else, I do need money
Like everybody I will not spend money

Yes, only for the sake of God Almighty *Rehber* want to live & die with dignity

Kalam - e - rehber

A tribute to my late Father.

Written by Rana Karim

Haa'n yeh aik tasveer hay
Bani yeh hamari taqdeer hay

Ye kushada peshani udas ankhein
Ye mohnee soorut soni nigahein

Bhoole na bhoolaye rwoshan chehra
Kafun mein lipta wo soya chehra

Mowt ne cheena pidar ka saya
Dooba safeena howa rishta praya

Mheroomi kahein ya apna naseeb
Dooori bun gayee hay raqeeb

Hukm - e ilahee hay apni jughe
Farman utarta nahee bilawajhe

Muqqdar ka likkha tulta nahee
Dil-e-na'dan kiyoon sunbhalta nahee

Ruqum ki yeh threer ba'hysiyat-e-dukhtar
Mere baba ke naam kalam-e-Rehber

Hidden Messages....

What do you think this picture on the back of a car means? Now, whoever sees this picture, will say that the driver is a women beater or a women killer or a serial killer. Or like my 10 year daughter says, the Driver is upset with the Lady Passenger and slaps her in the face.

I would like to hear what others have to say about this sticker.....so please give me your decent comments.

JazakallahKhair.

Loosing our Humanity

Asalaamu Alaikum,

It seems we are already loosing our humanity these days. More and more people are becoming more self-centered than being helpful to the community. We hardly take time to give it back to the community as we are too busy to help in the community center. I sometimes wonder what is it that makes us forget about giving to others. Why is it we always 'Take' but not 'Give' back enough. We should try to be at the 'Giving' end more often as this is the way we bring compassion into the world.

Sure we do give back but it is only to be applauded or to show off to others. More like showing off so as to get appraise. Very few of us do actually do anything GOOD with the intention of not receiving anything back. This is what we should aim for. This is what Islam teaches us, we should do Good deeds in such way that 'You give by one hand that the other hand is not aware about it.' It is like saying doing it in a Ghaib way or Hidden way or in the Silent way.

Why is it there is no one to speak up against the atrocities done to the Muslims around the World. Why can't we do anything to help without being looked at with suspicions. Why is it our Muslim leaders don't do anything and turn a blind eye when the Western Powers does something which is totally wrong against our people. Why is it that these Great Leaders just stay quiet and listen and do everything what the Western Leaders have to say.

Proud to be a Muslim...

Asalaamu Alaikum,

Why is it that we tend to become patriots when there is any international games going on? An example for this is the International Cricket game, which the whole world had been watching. When the semi-finals game was been played, India vs Pakistan match, the whole world was divided to watch it. Families were divided depending on which teams they preferred. Don't get me wrong but I'm not against the game or which side anyone chooses to side with as everyone has the freedom of choice. What I don't like however is that the way everyone takes it seriously, after all it's just a game.

The outcome to the game - the whole world knows by now. Pakistan lost to India. Hence started the joyous celebrations by Indians everywhere in the world, while Pakistanis were mourning at the loss. Thus began the unnecessary arsonist acts in different places by fans of the Pakistani team. The verbal war had started on many social media websites such as Facebook and twitter. Families were divided on the win-loose situation. The ones siding with the winning team started to downcast the loosing team. Now such acts are unnecessary and futile. Such acts can only cause rifts between families. At such times they show patriotism to their respective countries but no respect for the family elders.

Why is it that we tend to forget that we are  Muslims and then we are of different nationalities? Allah Subhanallahtaalah has created us humans as Muslims first. At the time we enter this world we all were born as Muslims and later when we reach the age of understanding, we are given the choice of which religion we want to follow. What we all should realize is that these games or sports are man made, therefore such things should not make us create a rift in the family which is unaccepted in Islam.

Allah Subhanallahtaalah has already mentioned in the Quran that we should not disrespect our elders and also should be loving and kind to them. So we should consider ourselves as the Muslim Ummah first and foremost.

Hence I AM PROUD TO BE A MUSLIM!
